Congratulations to all students who have qualified for the ACC Athletics All Stars Team for 2022 and those that won the Age Championship in their divisional carnival.

Sacred Heart College achieved the best school result with 16 qualifying athletes. Quinns Baptist, Mater Dei and St Mark’s each had 8 qualifying athletes.  The standout athletes were Emilia Reed from Sacred Heart qualifying for 5 events, and Daisy Brayshaw (Mater Dei)/Palace-Anne Koia (Aranmore), each qualifying for 4 events.  In the Multi Class competition, Niamh MacAlasdair (Guildford Grammar) and Jasmine Conlon (St Mary MacKillop) were the top athletes, each qualifying for 4 events.

The selected All Stars team is now available for viewing on the ACC website at http://www.accsport.asn.au/carnivals/athletics/all-stars-team and is displayed by school and by age group/event.  For some field events, equal performances required count backs which were sourced from the relevant carnival result sheets.  The Multi Class All Stars includes each competitor’s baseline % which is their % score against the world baseline performance for the event and disability classification.

All selected athletes will receive a certificate and an All Stars pin from the ACC as a memento for their achievement.  Age Champions receive a certificate only and are not automatically selected in the All-Star team.  Qualifying schools should receive certificates and pins some time in week 2, term 2.
