ACC win the girls All Stars Basketball Match 2017

Congratulations to the girls ACC All Stars Basketball team for their solid victory against SSWA yesterday at Bendat Stadium. It is the first win for the girls since the competition's inception four years ago.

The game was a close one from the start but the girls began to pull away in the third quarter to win by 25 points at full time. Congratulations to the captain Carla Drennan from Corpus Christi College for winning MVP. Her performance was outstanding.

The boys had a tough game against a very strong SSWA team this year, however they managed to keep the scores competitive throughout each quarter. A special thank you to Cooper Eves from All Saints' College for stepping up to replace Lucas Goff who sustained a last minute injury before the game.

Well done to Vlad Alava, Ryan Godfrey, Ben Shaw, Salvatore De Luca, Paige McKenzie and Alastair Kirkby for their professionalism and time in selecting and coaching the ACC teams. Thank you also to School Sport WA for their contribution and assistance in organizing what was yet again a very enjoyable event.
