Trial Match Squad - 2023
The ACC would like to congratulate the following players on being selected in the provisional squad for the ACC representative cricket team. All players will be required to attend a final intra-squad centre wicket trial on 9th March 2023. Following the trial a final team of 12 will be selected to represent the ACC against the combined government schools team on (TBC).
The ACC would like to thank all players that attended the initial net trials but did not make the final squad.
The final trial is used as "centre wicket practice" and play will commence at approx. 9.30am (tbc) and will be completed by 1.00pm, possibly earlier. Players are to make arrangements ASAP to be absent from school on the day.
Players should wear cricket whites, turf spikes and their school PE shirt to assist with staff identification. Please bring all your own personal cricket gear/kit. In addition, please bring a pair of rubber soled shoes suitable for play on a synthetic hard wicket. In case of wet weather and the turf pitch is not playable the trial may be moved to a nearby hard wicket.
If you are unable to attend the final trial due to injury or some other commitment then you are to make contact with the ACC Coach Mr Chris Quelch ASAP. PH: 0491 652 632
The ACC final trial is considered to be an official school event and you have made a commitment to attend. Players that fail to attend the final trial without providing legitimate reasons will be followed up by the ACC and your school Principal.
Between now and the representative match the ACC selectors reserve the right to add players to the squad.
