In beautiful conditions last Thursday, John XXIII showed their depth of talent by taking out the overall ACC Cross Country category to back up success in the A Division swimming carnival in March.
Over 4000 competitors from 79 schools took to Alderbury Reserve in Floreat for the showcase event, delivering some unbelievable running over the 3km and 4km courses.
Perennial winners, Sacred Heart, finished runner-up overall, with an emerging St Marks in third, Corpus Christi in 4th and Peter Moyes in 5th position. Congratulations to all schools that competed and enjoyed the atmosphere of the day.
