Co-educational and single gender schools form the membership of the Association.
Except by special invitation, member schools only may take place in activities organized by the Association.
Principals are the representatives and spokes-persons for member schools.
Withdrawal from Membership
Twelve months notice of withdrawal from membership and/or activities of the Association is required.
Single Gender Schools
In activities where venue lanes determine participation or a limit to the levels of participation, co-educational and single gender schools may compete in that activity. A single gender boys’ school may occupy the same lane as a single gender girls’ school. The linking is designed to best utilize lanes. One single gender school only, without lane occupation by the opposite single gender school, is permitted to compete in a discrete division of carnival. The single gender schools compete for the aggregate boys’ or aggregate girls’ trophies. They do not compete for the aggregate trophies.
To pursue more effectively the aims of the Association, member schools with a regional or other common interest, may form a Sub-Association with the approval of Council.
