Congratulations on a fantastic effort by all of our ACC competing schools involved in the 2017 ACC Year 7 Super Series!

The ACC Super Series was again proudly partnered by Netball WA, Football West and Basketball WA.The aim of the event was to bring together some of the strongest Year 7 talent within the schools across the competitive sports of netball, soccer and basketball.

With 19 competing schools in 2017 across the different venues, it was great to see a strong and competitive event being enjoyed by all the participants.

The West Coast Fever Shield was held at the State Netball Centre and had 12 schools battling it out across the day in two pools. Mercedes College defeating All Saints' 27-9 in the Grand Final on Court 1.

The Basketball WA Challenge Girls was held at Bendat Basketball Stadium with Sacred Heart defeating MacKillop 15-11 in a hard fought Grand Final. In the Basketball WA Challenge Boys a fanastic Grand Final with plenty of excellent 3 point shooting took place with St Norbert College defeating Kingsway Christian 38-29.

The Sam Kerr Shield took place at Kingsway Sports Complex with Mercy College taking out the 2017 shield by winning through and topping the girls pool. Many close and enthralling games were had across the day in the girls football.

The Stan Lazaridis Shield Grand Final in the boys football will be played next week. Kingsway Sports Complex and John XXIII College were both used as venues for the boys pools. Mercy College winning through a very close and hard fought north pool and South Coast Baptist winning through in the south pool will certainly be an excellent Grand Final to close out the 2017 ACC Super Series.

Congratulations to the winners and a full list of the 2017 Super Series Results can be found through the ACC Website.
