To align with community sport, the soccer carnivals have been moved to Term 1, providing a smooth transition into club teams, for those students to keen to do so.
*******************************************************************************************************************
The ISP Indoor and Outdoor Soccer Carnivals are two separate events, run at different venues, on the same day.
The carnivals are run in partnership with Football Futures, and are a modified all abilities version of the game. Any student with a disability (Years 7 to 12), whether enrolled in an Education Support unit or not, is eligible to attend.
Schools nominating a team(s) are encouraged to bring a maximum of two mainstream students (per team) to participate in the carnival, however this is not a requirement to participate. Should a school not have enough students to form a team(s), then this information can be provided on the school nomination form, and the ACC will coordinate for this students to form part of another school's team.
Both carnivals are mixed gender and open to students from Year 7 to 12. Single gender schools are invited to enter and either combine teams with another school or enter a single gender team. Should a school not have enough students to form a team(s), then this information can be provided on the school nomination form, and the ACC will coordinate for these studnents to form part of another team.
In both competitions, students will compete to determine a winning school at the conclusion of the competition.
