Over 190 students from 13 schools made their way to John XXIII College today for the ACC Inclusive Sports Day. On a warm and sunny day, students participated in a range of sporting activities delivered from 12 different State Sporting Associations. Students were also treated to a live interacted music performance from “Music Rocks” where we discovered a few budding superstars. Thank you to everyone involved in delivering a great day and we look forward to the event next year.
ACC held its inaugural Inclusive Sports Day in partnership with Inclusion WA in 2012. The ACC holds two Inclusive Multi-Sport Days each year in terms 2 and 4
The Sports day allows students of all abilities from ACC schools, between the ages of 12 and 18, to try a range of sports conducted by WA State sporting bodies.
Qualified coaches will introduce the fundamentals of each sport and lead into a series of fun and interactive games designed to encourage participation and develop a sense of achievement.
