After a two-year hiatus due to bad weather and then COVID, the ACC Inclusive Fun Run and Activity Day took place at Jackadder Lake Reserve in Woodlands today. 180 students from 11 ACC schools hit the ground running this morning with a two-kilometer run around the lake. It was a great effort with all students completing the course. The first three Boys and Girls to finish the race were awarded medals for their efforts and all students took home a participation certificate. All that running meant some hungry students who after spending the rest of the day participating in different fun games and activities were treated to a BBQ sausage sizzle. A big thank you to the staff and teachers from Sacred Heart College who assisted with the BBQ, and all of the staff who helped out on the course. Congratulations to Servite College, their students were thrilled to win the Sue Bigelow Shield at today’s event. Well done to all the runners.
