ACC All Star Boys and Girls Basketball teams win back to back games against SSWA

Congratulations to both of our ACC All Star Basketball teams for their back to back wins against SSWA yesterday at Bendat Stadium.  

Both games were comfortably won with final scores at 91-67 (Girls) and 80-54 (Boys). Congratulations to Ronan Coppin from Clontarf College and Sarah Allen from Mercedes College for being selected as Most Valuable Player for their performance.  

The highest point scorers were;

Girls Team - Shanae Hartree (St Norbert College) 18 points

Boys Team - Ethan Elliot (Kingsway Christian College) and Ben Fairclough (Corpus Christi College) 20 points each

The ACC had a sensational coaching team for both genders this year.  Thank you to the following people for their time, expertise and professionalism;

ACC Boys Team:  Sheldon McIntyre - Corpus Christi College (Coach), Salvatore De Luca - Clontarf College (Assistant Coach), Mike Burgermeister - Chisholm College (Manager).

ACC Girls Team:  Ryan Godfrey (Coach), Luke Ford - (Assistant Coach) and Colin Driscoll (Manager) - all from St Norbert College.

And finally to the players for representing your schools and the association with such enthusiasm, commitment and sportsmanship.  Well done to all of you on a fantastic effort.. 

Congratulations also to those in their third year of qualification.  You will be receiving a Letters award this year.
