Sun, Surf and Sand at the ACC Inclusive Beach Carnival 2021

The ACC Inclusive Sport Program got off to a flyer with the annual beach carnival. 175 students from 10 schools were treated to a great day of beach activities at Sorrento North Beach. The day began with students testing themselves in an Ironman course; swimming, boarding and wading through the surf in a fun competitive activity to start the day. Students then participated in multiple activities throughout the day such as boogie boarding, relays, beach ball games and sandcastle building. All the action meant the students had worked up a hunger and the day concluded with a BBQ on the grass. A big thank you to all of the parent helpers from Sacred Heart who volunteered their time to cook the BBQ. Another big thank you the student volunteers from Notre Dame University for their support of the day. A great way to kick off the ACC Inclusive sport calendar.
