Basketball

The Basketball WA Challenge was held indoors at Bendat Basketball Stadium and had a total of 16 teams competing on the day. The competition was very hard fought with the boys teams being split into two pools due to excellent team numbers in 2017. 

All players should be commended for the skill and teamwork that they displayed with many games being decided by only a few points.  

The 2017 Boys Basketball WA Challenge winning school was St Norbert College after a fantastic grand final game against Kingsway Christian College that featured some excellent 3 point shooting and team defense.  In the 2017 Girls Basketball WA Challenge, Sacred Heart College defeated St Mary MacKillop College. Girls from both teams demonstrated strong passing and shooting.
