PARA Sports Day

The aim of the Inclusion Sports Day is to promote inclusive sport in WA. Through this day we hope to encourage not only ACC students but all members of our community to integrate into existing opportunities that are available across a range of sports. The inclusion sports day will provide the ACC students and volunteers the opportunity to partake in a range of sports and activities in a fun and social environment.

The multi-sport carnival will offer activities in Cricket, Aussie Rules, Netball, Touch Football, Little Athletics, Lawn Bowls and Soccer. Most importantly, there is the opportunity for the students who wish to take part in any of these sports in an ongoing manner, to integrate into an existing community competition or club within each of the sports offered.

Each sport will provide information packs and goodies for the students to take home and present to their family. This information enables the student to pursue one of the sports as an individual, part of a team or with their family

In 2012 PARA students attended two (2) Inclusion Sports Days. These days were filled with colour, excitement and lots of physical activity. 12 schools attended with approximately 180 students and 50 Volunteers.
