The ACC selects a representative cricket team each year to play a match against the Combined Government Schools team. The match is organised through the great partnership between WA Cricket, School Sport WA and the ACC.

This is a great cricket opportunity, and all schools are encouraged to nominate quality players for this highly regarded match. Player nominations are open to any player who will be enrolled at an ACC member school of that year.  There is no age restriction but players must be at a representative standard and capable of playing at a highly competitive U18 level. All players selected receive an ACC cricket cap from the association.

Net selection trials are usually held early in Term 1, with a trial squad chosen for an intrasquad match in late February/early March.  The final team is then named for the representative match, usually played at Murdoch University Cricket Ground in March.
