Trial Information

The final team will be selected from the following trials. Nominating players are required to inform the Team Manager (andrew.lincoln@bcgs.wa.edu.au) regarding which of the net trials they will be attending.

 

 

Dress and Equipment

Players are asked to wear a school sports top to assist with identification.

Cricket players are required to provide their own personal cricket kits at trials and on the event day. Groin protectors are recommended for batters and wicket keepers in cricket. Gloves, pads, and helmets are required. 

Further details will be communicated via email to all nominated players.

 

Player Nominations

If a student wishes to withdraw their nomination, they must do so before trials to avoid the nomination fee.  Sport Coordinators are to check the nominated players from their school, as emailed to them, and report any errors or changes.  

Players that have been selected in a previous year's ACC Representative Cricket team, or who are national or state representatives, may be excused from attending the net trials, but must communicate this intent to the Team Manager ahead of the date. Such players will automatically progress to the final centre wicket trial.

 

Country Players

Players in country areas, e.g. Manjimup, may elect not to attend all of the trials; however, they must communicate this with the coaching staff and additionally provide a written recommendation from their local club verifying that they are at representative standard. Players from Bunbury and surrounds are expected to attend the net trial held at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School.

 

The ACC coaching staff reserve the right to add players to the trialling squad at any time and to amend the trial details if circumstances require it.
