Year 7 Carnivals

This year, the ACC received 49 team nominations for the year 7 AFL series resulting in 10 regional carnivals and 2 South West carnivals.

• North Metro Carnivals - Tuesday 15 June
• South Metro & South West Carnivals - Tuesday 22 June
• Grand Final Carnivals - Tuesday 29 June

The grand final carnivals were rescheduled to Thursday 22 July due to a COVID lockdown that was applied in the last week of term 2.  Both carnivals were held at well maintained and accomodating venues with great weather and a high level of competition for our top year 7 schools. Bunbury Catholic College won the boys’ competition after a great game against Emmanuel Catholic College in the final round.  The Emmanuel Catholic College girls were undefeated in their competition with strong performances against the other three teams.

Well done to all teams and thank you to the associated football clubs that assist with the management of the carnivals. Thank you also to the WAFC for providing the trophies, medallions and umpires for the grand final carnivals, and to the SEDA groups for their assistance with umpiring at the regional carnivals.
