In addition to the ACC Inclusive Sport program of events, the ACC offers students with a disability the opportunity to compete in the ACC Multi Class program. Multi Class events align with ACC major carnivals and inter-school sporting events and are designed to be an integrated competitive sporting program.
The three major ACC carnivals of Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country all have an integrated Multi Class component, providing students with a disability the opportunity to compete alongside members of their school, other competing schools, and other athletes within the Multi Class program.
Students can compete in these events as either Multi Class (classified) or inclusive athletes, with all Multi Class athletes able to set and or break records, as well as qualify for ACC All Stars.
The 2023 ACC Divisional Athletics carnivals saw a total of 15 athletes compete, 6 of whom were competing for the first time, and 22 multi-class records were set, of which 6 were broken records.
