8 ACC Integrated Cricket teams played in the Inaugural NO LIMITS cricket carnival on Friday the 9th November.

Participating teams were from Sacred Heart College, Servite College, La Salle College, Mercedes College and John Wollaston who were competing in their very first Inclusive event.

The carnival was supported by the WACA and the SEDA ‘Cricket Australia’ students who were simply brilliant in their coaching, refereeing, scoring and encouragement of all participants.

The atmosphere throughout the day was electrifying with many schools displaying excellent skills and well thought out tactics in the Rapid Fire Game.

After 3 competitive rounds, schools then played in semi finals and consolation finals.

Semi Final 1:                    La Salle 1 (21) defeated Servite (19)

Semi Final 2                     Mercedes 2 (19) defeated La Salle 2 (18)

Consolation Final:            Sacred Heart 2 (39) defeated Sacred Heart 1 (25)

Consolation Final:            Mercedes 1 (25) defeated John Wollaston (21)

FINAL:                             La Salle 1 (27) def Mercedes 2 (23)

The day was topped off with a very dramatic final game between Mercedes 2 and La Salle 1.

Both teams had been training over the term and were determined to do well today.

Great batting and running between the wickets from La Salle’s final 2 batsmen was enough to secure a 4 run win over the Mercedes team.
