The ACC Championship is the pinnacle of competitive Junior Girls & Boys Basketball within the association. 

The ACC Championship Basketball played preliminary pools during Term 1 with a wide range of sub association groups, wildcard groups and one day carnival pools. 43 ACC member schools participated across the pool stage with the winners from each pool placed into the ACC Championship Elimination tournament that took place during Term 3.

The Junior Girls Grand Final was played between All Saints’ and Georgiana Molloy on Showcourt 1 at Warwick Stadium. The All Saints’ team played some fast and high energy basketball in the first half to open an early lead. The Georgiana Molloy team slowly started to claw back into the game with some excellent defense and controlling the rebounding. By the midpoint of the final quarter the contest was level and on a knife edge. Georgiana Molloy eventually holding their nerve with some final baskets under pressure to deliver an amazing comeback victory. Congratulations to star player Tiana Frame from Georgiana Molloy for the elite performance in the Grand Final winning the MVP award.

The Junior Boys Grand Final was played between Corpus Christi and Irene McCormack. The Corpus Christi team played some outstanding basketball in the first quarter to open a game winning advantage. The team was well from deep with a number of 3-point plays and really setting the Irene McCormack team into a defensive spin. The second half started with a flurry of return shooting from Irene McCormack as they also began to shoot strongly from 3-point range. Eventually, the depth of Corpus Christi showed as they continued to run the offense through multiple scoring avenues that highlighted a powerful finals performance. Congratulations to Jordan Ritchie from Corpus Christi for the outstanding performance in the Grand Final winning the MVP award.
