The Associated & Catholic Colleges of WA (ACC) recognises the contributions of member school staff, employees and appointed officials through the ACC “Spirit” awards. Award recipients will have demonstrated a long standing and significant contribution to the mission of the association and actively embodied the ACC maxim of “Sport in the Right Spirit”.
The ACC “spirit” awards are open to any person that has made a substantial input to ACC sport. The awards are not only open to employees of member schools and the association but also to volunteers and community officials. The “Spirit” Awards will be presented at the annual ACC Awards Presentation Ceremony.
The "Spirit" Awards are conferred on four levels of service:
RECOGNITION AWARD
SAINT SEBASTIAN FELLOWSHIP AWARD
At this year's Awards Function, the ACC selected a panel of six students from ACC member schools. The MC of the event (Katie Lamb) interviewed the students about their special experiences in ACC sport, how ACC sport has helped them in their sporting journey, and what ideas could be actioned to make ACC sport even more enjoyable and accessible to increase student participation.
The students who were chosen for the panel were:
- Boudene Huckle (Swan Christian College)
- Charlie Hodge (John XXIII College)
- Neve MacAlasdair (Guildford Grammar School)
- Angel Turner (Kingsway Christian College)
- Darren Fernandez (Corpus Christi College)
- Quyen Doan (Mercy College)
Many thanks to the schools and staff who were involved in preparing the guests for the event.
