Lightning Carnivals

Due to Covid restrictions, the 2022 Lightning Carnivals were rescheduled from Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 May to Monday 17 October and Tuesday 18 October.

The Year 7 Lightning Carnivals had nineteen schools participating in six sports: AFL, soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball, netball and AFLX. There were approximately 400 students participating across all four venues.  

Nineteen schools also participated in the Year 8/9 Lightning Carnivals in seven sports: AFL, soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball, netball, AFLX and Rugby union. Over 200 students were involved across the four venues.

We look forward to moving the Lightning Carnivals back to their original slot to Term 2 in 2023.
